I am obviously not in my blog everything stage of life right now. My life is so busy yet so plain all at the same time. I sit home all day but when your running after three kids there isn't really time to blog or text or any of the simple things that I used to take advantage of. I mainly want to do this post just so I remember the things Steeler is doing right now. He is is now 6 months old and weighs 20.2 lbs. I'm sorry but that is ridiculous! I can't carry him around in his car seat that much longer. He is now starting to roll, he loves is stomach. I try to get him to be on his back but he just flips right over. He has been sleeping in his crib for about 4 days now and I hate it! I would rather him just be right next to me so I can just reach over and grab him to feed him, now I have to get up and get him so I have to wake all the way up so it's harder to go back to sleep. He still eats every 3 hours. He drools a ton!!! He can't sit up yet but he will balance for a couple seconds. Kai is 2 1/2 and he is talking a ton! He has always talked but usually only I can understand him but now he will just go on and on about everything. He will copy whatever Kelly says, he will say it however she does, like if she is worried he will be worried but half the time he doesn't know what he is saying. Kelly is just a little firecracker! Man she has an attitude. Shes not taking a nap everyday just here and there depending on how tired she is. She really misses preschool and her cousins. She asks me everyday if Hallie and Mayzie are coming over. This past weekend she turned 4! Really I have a 4 year old, thats weird. She was sad because she wanted her birthday to be just like Hallie's but she still had a lot of fun. Tika recently got a promotion and is now assistant manager at the Airport location which is hard because it is so far away but we like the schedule. This week he doesn't have to leave till 3 so he is able to be home with the kids. To be honest it is really weird, I am so used to him seeing the kids for 1 hour a day. They are loving it! Tika and I have now been married 6 years! That is crazy! I always make jokes about look at my life I'm 23 and have 3 kids but honestly I am exactly where I want to be. I have a wonderful husband who works hard to support us and works hard at home to help me. I really am the luckiest woman, Tika cleans more then me and he loves playing with the kids. And such beautiful kids. I really wouldn't ask for anything to be different. Besides that I want a house! :) And with that said here are a couple pictures! Steeler is now 3 months old! Wow that went by fast. I can't believe how big he is already and how fat I still am :). All you have to do is talk to him and he will give you the biggest smile! He isn't really fussy anymore so that has been nice!

Steeler is now 2 months old! Wow where did that time go. We blessed him this weekend while all the Wesley's were in town. Tika did such a good job! Here is a few photos of how big he is getting. He is my hardest baby by far, he just cries way more then I'm used to but he is actually getting better and better each day. He still wakes up about every 3 hours to eat but will usually go right back to sleep.

Who would have thought this is where I would be at this age in my life, at the circus with Cassie and Hannah and our 9 kids! Yes NINE!!! People always ask us if were in a race.

Steeler is now 2 weeks old. It has gone by so fast yet it's been so slow! The first week and a half were pretty rough at night but now that I finally made it to the store to buy the gas drops he has been sleeping much better at night. Burping him is the biggest chore, he will take 10 minutes to eat but then 45 to get a burp out. I'll try to just lay him down without the burp and he will be quite just long enough for me to fall asleep then he will start screaming. So if having a new baby in the house isn't hard enough Kelly has had croup and a fever for the last week. She keeps asking me what time she will be done coughing. Oh and don't worry if that's not enough Kai has an ear infection and is handling not being the baby very well. Just another day in the life of a crazy mom I guess.....

What we have been doing the last 2 weeks.....

The last two weeks have been a couple of busy ones! Here are some pictures...

I was busy getting really fat! ( And don't try the you were pregnant thing, I took 7th grade health and they didn't mention anything about the baby growing in your arms or thighs!)

We got lots of snow and the kids love it!

Mayzie had a birthday so we went to Kangaroo Zoo.

Tika also had a birthday he is the big 25!

We met Santa and Mrs Clause. Kelly was being such a bum when I took her then when Tika got there she just loved them! She thinks that Santa is Santa and his wife's name is Clause. I keep trying to explain it but I gave up.

Tika's family from Hawaii stayed with us for a couple of weeks over Christmas so needless to say they got WAY to many presents.

I got Kelly a picture book from when we went to Disneyland.

Steeler was born on 12/30/2009. He weighed 8lbs 13oz, 20.5 inches long.

With every kid so far my mom picks up the baby and walks directly over to the curtain to use it as a back drop for her picture.... oh Juli.

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! This year the kids got to dress up three times. Kelly had a little program at preschool and she did so good! They all memorized 5 or 6 little poem/songs. It was fun to see her at preschool because I always wondered how she acted but she just sat in her chair silent the whole time. On Halloween night we went over to the Fords and she fed us all and we went trick or treating in her neighborhood. I really appreciate how Lisa treats my kids like they are her grandkids too! Then we went out to my Grandma's to eat way to much and visit with family. Whats a holiday without family.... (P.S. Kelly is Fire and and Kai is a Fireman)

Well I don't even know where to start! So lets just make it a picture post instead of words! This is what we have been doing lately!

First is Disneyland. Me, Kelly and Kai went to Disneyland for 3 days with D'Laina and her family. The Kids had so much fun! Kelly loves seeing the Princesses but her favorite was the Finding Nemo Ride which of coarse was the 2 longest lines in the park! They also loved riding the horses on the carousel.

The splash park was a nice way to cool down on such a hot day!

They were long exhausting days!

The First time we have been able to get all 7 grand kids in one picture! As you can see it's a challenge!

Kelly loves riding Hallie's bike whenever she can. Kelly just had a Birthday, we celebrated by going to Chuck E Cheese's

We got all 7 grand kids together again and went to the Scera Pool. It was alot of fun and Kelly loves spending time with her Grandma and Grandpa and Tialei.

I don't think Grandma could have got her anything else! This girl was spoiled this year!!!

She loved the crown and jewels from her Aunt Carrie and Russ.

The 4Th of July we went to the Provo Parade in the morning and then home for a BBQ with the family, and a few fireworks. Kelly's Mickey Mouse cake I made her....

Tika had a weird Schedule this week and it turned out he got 5 days off in a row so we weren't sure what to do so we went on a Camping adventure. What an adventure it is with 2 young kids! They did great, they loved the canoe and Kai loved the dirt! The hardest part was sleeping Kai would not go to sleep because we were all in there with him but it turned out fine and we survived!

( I don't know who that fat lady is, she just wanted a picture with Tika :))

We cooked eggs on the fire they turned out pretty good.

This is our Campground all set up. I don't know how we ended up with so much random stuff we just took everything we found. (Not sure why we have 6 chairs set up it was just the 4 of us)

Tika is obsessed with Fishing lately. If he has a spare moment that's what he is doing.

We got the Canoe all fixed and it worked great!
Mom and Wendy came up and joined us for a few hours on Saturday. The kids loved the rides on the four wheelers.

We were ready to go and with no sleep that night and no nap this is what happened about the same time I got it all the way buckled.

Yes it's true baby #3 is on the way! It's a little bit of a bitter sweet time for me and Tika were excited for everything a new baby brings and the new member of our family but seriously 3 kids!!! Pretty much we are so overwhelmed and wondering what the heck we are doing. I will be 23 when I have my 3rd kid, KILL ME! I have been really nauseous but haven't thrown up yet(knock on wood) That's a bit of a change seeing as with Kelly and Kai I couldn't keep anything down. As much as I am glad I'm not that sick I was really hoping to drop the weight like I did with Kai when I was so sick. I am 10 weeks along and had my first appointment today. The doctor tried to find the heart beat but had no such luck ( I have a little too much cushion in my belly!) because of my 2 miscarriages he went ahead and did an ultrasound to make sure I had something in there. Well it was a reality check, there was a heart beat and now it is that much more real. Because I haven't been as sick as I was with my other two I was having doubts it was going to stick. I will be due in January, actually on Kai's due date! I have a long 30 weeks left so here we go......

New York!

So this last week I had the chance to go to New York with D'laina. We took the 11:00 flight on Thursday getting us in at 5:00 New York time, that makes it 3:00 Utah time! We can't check into the hotel till later so we were off to see the Statue of Liberty. We were all so tired and a little cranky but it was still so cool and so much fun. It was a cold cloudy day so not very many people were there and that made it much better. I have been to New York as a kid and I didn't think I remembered anything but it was crazy how much came back to me as soon as I saw it. So after the Statue of Liberty we were walking through battery park to find a subway and a "homeless" guy starts telling us to follow him. I had no clue what was going on but we all followed him into this little alley way and he opens his bags and it was a purse shop! So we all got our first taste of spending money but don't worry that wouldn't be the last of our shopping! So Saturday we went to China town and part of Soho and spent every penny we all had! Mostly on Purses (I got 4) and some jewelry and I got a couple of watches for Tika. We then headed off to see a comedy show by central park. About an hour of walking looking for it we were there and it was alot of fun. Alot of drama but alot of fun. I was a little crude but we were all laughing. Sunday we were off to see Lion King. I really liked it, it pretty much is the same as the movie but it was really cool to see people singing the songs right in front of you. After our show we went to Planet Hollywood for D'Laina's sisters birthday. Always expensive but always fun! We then headed to the empire state building. It was really fun and had the best view but it was my least favorite activity (funny because besides the show it was the most expensive). Monday was our last day so we got up early and headed to canal street for a couple extra things to buy and then headed off to central park. We were short on time and people say you can't see the whole park in one day so we went on a little tour. This poor little man had to ride 4 of us around on his bike! It was alot of fun and I am way glad we spent the extra money and had him take us! Then we headed back to the hotel grabbed our bags and we were off. And the best part we were on Jet blue, they have TVs on the back of every seat and you can watch anything you want and the flight wasn't full so D'Laina and I had the exit row to ourselves! Thanks Kim and D'Laina for inviting me, Thanks mom for watching my kids! And now I have weaseled my way into the next Perkins family vacation and we are off to Disneyland on Sunday!

Happy Mothers Day

I love my mother very much and appreciate everything she does for me. I am so glad that there is a day that is dedicated to mothers because it is a day that you can really express your love and appreciation for all the other days of the year. My mom is the smartest lady I know. If I have a question about anything she is the one I call. My mom has taught me how to be an adult and take care of myself. Her motto in life seems to be "Work hard: Play hard". I hope that when I am her age I will have done half of what she has!

As for Tika's mom I would like to thank her for the wonderful job she did in raising him. He is the best parent a kid could have! I often wonder why we decided I would be the stay at home parent and not him! I am always really sad that Tika's parents made the move to Hawaii because we miss them so much. Kelly always asks for her Grandma Susan and Grandpa Hiagi (She says it really good). We are looking forward to when they come to visit in August.
I would also like to say Happy Mothers Day to Cassie. She is the one who has taught me everything I know as far as being a mom goes. If I have any questions about kids she is the one to call. She is the most patient and loving mother I know. I have been laying in bed the last few nights trying to imagine this summer without her and the kids and I don't know what I am going to do. Last summer we were attached at the hip, Kelly even called her Mama Cassie. I know it is only 3 short months but I am going to be so lonely!

We try to hang out as much as we can but it often feels like a "Cookoo's Nest"She always tries to make we me push my limits!

Happy Mothers day to all the moms out there! I think this is the hardest yet most rewarding job there is.

20 HOURS of driving in one week!

I have had a very eventful week to say the least! My usual week consists of sitting at my house with my kids, playing in the backyard, naps, and a few times a week going to work. This week was about the opposite! It all started last Thursday when me and 5 of my friends went to St George. It was so much fun hanging out with all of them with no kids! Friday we went to Vegas and had way to much fun playing a little three card! D'Laina was the big winner of the day and she was nice enough to share the wealth! She was trying to help others who didn't have as much money and bought all the groceries! She is the best friend ever! While she was a winner I was definitely a NOT! It kinda put a downer on me but I was over it pretty quick! So Saturday we just hung out and went to the outlets, Outback for dinner, and Cold stone for desert! Sunday we just woke up and left. It really was so fun seeing everyone and I can't wait to do it again. Thanks Tika for taking care of the kiddies!

Monday Cassie had her new baby boy Dirk! Having a baby is the most amazing miracle I have ever seen! I love watching her have her babies even if I am uninvited! She is so amazing! Dirk was Cassie's biggest baby yet weighing in at 8 lbs 2 oz and measuring 19 inches long!

Do they get any cuter then this!!!

Tika had Wednesday and Thursday off work so he was getting a little antsy and just wanted to do something! We are so used to doing what we want when we want so this new job is a little draining on our spontaneity! So Wednesday after riding our bikes from our house to Cassie's (just had to throw that in there, That's a long way for me!) We decided to make our first trip Back to Wyoming since we moved one year ago. It was a lot of fun staying with Montel and Mekelli and Kelly loves Mia and KJ! We just stayed one quick day and then drove the 3 hours back home. Montel was kind enough to send home a ton of dress up clothes!

Well that trip to Wyoming just wasn't enough for Tika so we asked my mom to babysit for the night and drove ANOTHER 3 HOURS to Wendover. We love riding the bus out there! We played bingo on the bus (We each Won once) Then when we got there ate at the Buffet, played a little blackjack, and Poker. It has been a while since I played poker so I was a little nervous but I WON a couple hands! Oh I almost forgot our favorite game of the night Wheel of Fortune! We stayed a few hours out there and slept the whole way home on the bus! We got home about 4 in the morning so we were both a little tired the next day!

Poor little Kai Kai got his first real goose egg bonk! Kelly never really got any goose eggs (knock on wood!!!) Cassie is packing up her house to move and is sorting everything for me to take while she is gone and she was nice enough to set out a little (Like less then 2 feet tall) slide. Well turns out Kai doesn't know that you have to go down on your butt and not face first. His little forehead (OK, OK big forehead) and nose really got it...

Easter and 15 months

Yes I know it has been a while... Kai is now 15 months! It it crazy how fast the time has gone by. at his appointment he only weighed 24 lbs which is only the 40th percentile. I have a really hard time keeping weight on my kids once I stop nursing. he measured 33 inches tall which is the 88th percentile. The doctor said it is fine that he is losing weight as long as he is getting the right nutrition and it stops happening so I'm not really worried about it. Kai doesn't talk he only says ba which means, ball, bread, book, bite, banana, you know anything that starts with a B. :) He will occasionally spit out a mama or papa but not very often. He is a really funny kid and he loves to tease Kelly. He is a climber and that is a new challenge for me! It drives me crazy he can get on anything! He loves balls, outside, the tramp, kisses, and bows. Yes he loves to wear Kelly's bows and I love to let him!

Easter
This Easter was much more fun the last... I think it will just get better every year as the kids get older. Last Easter Kelly just cried and wouldn't touch the eggs (She is afraid of EVERYTHING) But this year both the kids were running to get the eggs and fill there baskets. On Saturday we went and had and egg hunt with Montell and her family and then Sunday we went to my Grandma's for dinner. I love all my family get-togethers and spending time with them!

Kelly's 1st hair cut!

I noticed that Kelly's hair was getting long and straggly and realized I have never cut it so I decided it was time. I was always to cheap to pay to get my hair cut growing up (All of you have probably cut my hair a time or two!) and well the same goes for Kelly I guess! So I decided I would give it a try! I really need to know how to cut a boys hair because Kai is way over due! I cut a couple inches off the top once but now it is getting long!

Our little boy is getting so big! Kai's turned 1 on the 5th and Tika's parents were in town so they made sure he celebrated in style. We had a huge birthday / New Years Party at the church. Kai is such a joy to our family! He is a sensitive little one! I'm not much for words so here is pictures from the last year!

Happy Birthday Tika!

Tika was born on December 15, 1984. His parents were taking a short trip to American Samoa when Tika decided to come 6 weeks early. Tika was a health happy 5lb 13oz baby boy. His parents were able to fly him back to Fiji when he was just 1 day old. His birth certificate actually says "Please take this for a real birth certificate" (Yeah it's been fun whenever we have to turn it in for something). Tika only lived in Fiji until he was 2 years old when his family moved to Utah. He lived in Salt Lake from 2-6 years old. His family then made the big move to Guam. While in Guam Tika lived a very simple life, at one point they were without electricity for 2 week due to a typhoon that hit the island. When he was 11 he moved back to Utah. Tika played Varsity basketball team all 4 years of high school, he also earned his Eagle Scout. Tika got his associates while attending Salt Lake Community College on a Basketball Scholarship. We then made the big move back to Orem where Tika played 1 year at UVSC and got his bachelors in Community Health. We then moved to Wyoming were Tika sold cars but was away from his family too much so we decided it best to yet again make the move back to Orem. Tika has been looking for a job for the last 3 months and is happy to announce that he was offered a job with Enterprise Rent a Car in the management training program. Hopefully in about a year he will be promoted to assistant manager and from there the sky is the limit. In October Enterprise was included in the top 50 places to launch a career so we are very excited about this opportunity. All of these experiences have helped Tika become the man he is today. He is a wonderful father and husband. I have been able to celebrate 7 birthdays with Tika so far and I look forward to many more! Happy Birthday and I LOVE YOU!

Last week in Hawaii; finally, home sweet home

Our last week in Hawaii we stayed at Marriott's Ko Olina Beach Club Resort on the west side of Oahu. Our room was awesome, and the resort was amazing. They had these really nice lagoons where there were no waves so it was perfect for the kids. Kelly and Kai loved the ocean water. If we weren't on the beach, then we were at the pool. They had a basketball hoop and volleyball net inside the pool so Tika, Kami, Juli, and Curt were able to have a good game of two on two bball. On Monday we took my family to the north shore and had a lot of fun. We started by going to world famous Matsumoto Shaved Ice, next stopped at shark's cove where we enjoyed some amazing snorkeling. We saw a turtle, a couple of eels, an octopus, and quite a few schools of colorful fish. We finished our day at the Polynesian Cultural Center after eating a feast at Tika's parents house. On Friday we had to check out of the hotel so my family left and Tika and I went back to his parents house for the last two days of our three week vacation. On Saturday morning Susan watched the kids and me and Tika went on a really fun hike to Maunawilli Falls. It was an hour hike into the falls and it was really cool cause it felt like you were in the middle of a jungle. There were green mountains, trees, vines, and bushes everywhere you looked. Once we got to the waterfall there were about twenty other people there cliff jumping into the water hole beneath the falls. We had a fun time. Later that evening we ate the best meal of our vacation at Turtle Bay's Saturday night Alaskan King Crab/Prime Rib Seafood buffet (a dream come true for Tika). Sunday evening we caught the red eye flight home, and back to reality. The flight left at 10:30 p.m. Hawaii time, and got into SLC at 7:30 a.m. Utah time. It was a long flight but luckily Kelly fell asleep ten minutes into it and slept the whole flight. Since we only had three seats for the four of us, Kai, Tika, and myself got our own seats, and Kelly ended up sleeping on the floor just below Kai and my feet. All in all we had a great family vacation. The last few times we travelled we only brought one of our two children so it was nice to have all of us together. Big thanks to Tika's family for letting us stay with them, and Juli for providing us with the accommodations at the resort.

Week 2 in Hawaii

Well it hasn't been a week since my last post but today my whole family flies in and we go to a resort so I will be with out Internet access for the next week! I am really excited for my family to come, it will be the first trip in a long time that we will all be able here, (well minus Hallie and Mayzie). This last week has been a blast! Monday we went to the beach and went to the Haunted Lagoon again and then went to the night show at the Polynesian Cultural Center, Tika loves the fire dance! Tuesday we woke up were able to go stay at a Hotel in downtown Waikiki! I have never stayed on that part of the island so it was a ton of fun! We were able to go swimming at the hotel, walk on the beach, go to the International marketplace, and go in a few stores. Later that night we met up with Susan and went to Tialie's Semi-final Volleyball game. It was such a good game and Tialei played a ton! It was intense it went all 5 games. Wednesday we went to the swap meet and got way to MUCH stuff! We then went back to Waikiki and walked around a little more. We then raced home and got our costumes on for the ward Trunker Treating. It was bitter sweet moment, I was so excited to dress up and dress the kids up but then I was sad because we actually had costumes this year and a couple invites to Halloween parties and I have never been to one before (Except in 8Th grade). Trunker was a ton of fun and Kelly loved trick or treating! Thursday we went to Sunset beach and watched the surfers for a while then went and ate at the Polynesian Cultural center and then went to Tialei's Region Finals Volleyball game, it went 5 games again so it was good and she played awesome! Friday being today we are just packing up and getting ready to go pick up my family! Happy Halloween Everyone!!!

About half hour after we got there Kelly started with the ear fold and Bink (she is really tired) because it was 7:30 which means 11:30 at home.
We got so tired before it was over so we had to walk home and my kids are getting to big for me so Tika had to carry them most of the way!

Week 1 in Hawaii

Last Monday we started our 3 week vacation in Hawaii. We left for the airport at about 8:40 which was way to early because our flight didn't leave till 12:20 but I always like to be really early when I have kids with me so I can ask for an extra seat so I don't have to hold the baby the whole time. So far it's been about 50/50. Anyways I was able to get Kai his own seat and there was an extra one next to Kelly so she was able to take a nap too. Needless to say things were going way to smooth when Kai started getting really fussy and come to find out he has had a blow out! And me being the worlds greatest mom I forgot the change of clothes for the plane. So I made him a little toga out of the airplane blanket. It was so nice of Tika's parents they made us Lei's when they picked us up and Kelly looked so cute in hers. On the drive to Laie the van was smelling like the brakes were burning but Tika's dad had just got them fixed so we didn't worry about it that much until the front started smoking! We pulled over and there just happened to be a guy fixing his car and he told us he had the same van and that it needed to be towed and we should not be driving it. So poor Susan had to drive and pick us up about 45 minutes away. We finally reached our destination at about 7:00. My kids did so good! I couldn't have asked for more! Tuesday we went to Waimea Bay and Kelly was afraid of the sand for about the first 20 minutes but she loved the ocean. Kai also loved to be in the water. After the beach we went to the famous Matsumoto shaved ice, they have the best shaved ice with ice cream for way cheap! Tuesday we went to Temple beach. And we finished the day with Tialei's volleyball game she did great! Wednesday we went to Hukilau Beach. And went into town for another one of Tialei's games. Thursday we went to Temple beach again (it is across the street from there house) Friday we went to Hukilau beach and to the Haunted Lagoon at the Polynesian Culture Center. It was so good! I think it was the first haunted thing I have been to so it was really fun. There were people that would pop out of the water one of them made Tika jump so bad. Oh and don't forget we made 75 lbs of flour into dough and 25lbs of powdered sugar into frosting for Tialie's team to make into scones and sell at the football game for a fundraiser. Saturday it was really rainy all day which was a nice break from all the heat! I could never live here it is so hot and humid you always feel wet and sticky. We set the pool up in the back yard and that was really fun for Kelly and then while the kids were sleeping we went over to Pounders and Susan made Kai and Tialei there Halloween costumes. I will show you them on Halloween!

Pumkins, Potties and food!

We have had an eventful weekend over here! On Saturday we went to my favorite store, Provo Craft outlet. When I lived in Wyoming that was the first place I wanted to go when I came into town, I just like to walk up and down every row. Anyways they had these little decorations that I knew Tika and Kelly would have fun with. Kelly had so much fun painting them.
Then for the big news on Sunday Kelly decided it was time to use the potty. I have been needing to potty train her for a while now but I wanted to wait till things were a little more consistent in her life and we actually had our own bathroom to do it in. So anyways Sunday morning she kept saying potty potty, so I said what the heck I will start today! So I took her into the bathroom but she had already went pee in her toilet! I didn't have and "Dunders" (Which I guess is what we are calling her underwear thanks to Hallie) so I just used her diaper covers from her dresses. A couple hours later she started saying potty potty again so I went to take her in and she had already gone #2 in her potty! So far she has only peed her pants 3 times! I am very excited to only have one kid in diapers!!!

I was giving her a treat every time she would go in the potty! The kid has had enough Carmel for a lifetime. She loves waiving bye bye when we flush the toilet!

And lastly Tika decided it is time for his boy to eat like a big kid! Up till now I am still only breastfeeding Kai and that has been plenty for him. But Tika wanted to feed him baby food today and the poor kid loved it! He would get so upset if Tika would start to walk away. Maybe, just maybe, I will let him eat it more often!

A night out with the ladies

So everyone was making fun of me last night because I was going to blog about this but hey that's what blogs are for!!! Yesterday Crystal and Jen came into town from Arizona so last night a bunch of us girls all got together and went to Los Hermanos. We have all been friends since Jr. high and we have been going to this same restaurant for years. It was so fun to see everyone and how we are all changing and how we are all at different stages in our life. It is always fun to get together with these girls because we all feel right at home with each other. Jen moved away in 9Th grade and if I remember right that was the only time I cried as a teenager! Jen, Crystal and I were best friends so I love when they come into town! We all love to go down memory lane. Then today we all went to the park so our kids could play. It was so fun to see all these little kids running around. It was a ton of fun and I hope to be seeing all you ladies a little more often!!!

Kai is almost 9 months old now and he was still sleeping in my room. In California he slept in my closet and living here the poor kid was still sleeping in his car seat! He was waking up all the time to eat! So now that we are getting settled and have a bed for him he is in his own room. It has only been 3 nights now but so far he is only waking up once or twice to eat. I am so excited to get a full nights sleep!!! Hopefully this means there will be a happier me :)

Tika is home and Moving!

Tika has been in Boston for the last 6 weeks and now he is home! He was supposed to stay out there about another week but decided he would come home on Monday night. Also on Saturday I got to move out of the bedroom I have been living in and down into the basement apartment at Tika's parents house. Yes I am taking a big step backward, but I am moving back to Utah and that is what is important! We loved out house in Wyoming but it just wasn't worth it to live there when Tika was working 9-9 everyday and I didn't know anyone. We have been having a moving frenzy around here since Saturday because Stephanie and TG moved out of the upstairs and to there new house and Russ and Carrie moved out of the basement and to the upstairs and Tika and I going downstairs. I feel like we haven't stopped! We still have so much unpacking to do. It has been hard because we have so many things in different boxes, I have the kitchen box from being back in Utah, the one from California, the five in the storage unit and Tika's from Boston! I feel like I have been in my kitchen for two days straight just unpacking! Right now the house is a little hard on us but I think once we decorate it will feel a little more like home. Thanks to everyone who has helped us in this process!!!

Also the Sunday before Tika came home him, TG, Curt and Mitch all went to a Steelers game! I had a hard time excepting the extra expense but when will he ever be that close again... He had so much fun!

I am alive! We have been very busy the past month! Here is a little update on what is going on at the Wesley house. (actually we don't have a house!) On August 16 Tika was driving home from a long day at work and in true Wesley fashion told me we were moving back to Utah the next day! I don't think I have ever had more then 4 days notice that I had to pack up my house and move.(this is number 12) So we loaded up the car and drove back to Utah to move into a back room at Tg and Stephs (Ma and Pa Wesley's house) Tika was able to stay home with me on Sunday and Monday then he flew off to Boston to sell for one more month! Yes it has been a long three weeks without him and there are still three more to go! Me and the kids sleep and Stephs but we have yet to shower or eat over there because we come to Cassie's house at the crack of dawn and don't go home till bedtime everyday! Over labor day we went to my mom's townhouse in St George. It was a ton of fun and all the girls loved the splash park. All in all we are very excited to be moving back to Utah and feel very grateful to everyone who is taking care of us while we are here!!!

This shows the story of Kai's life, I was trying to make him crawl to the book so I kicked it farther away then Kelly noticed and gave the book to him then Hallie took the book back away so he would crawl to it then Mayzie ran over and took the book away to read it herself! So he has been crawling for a little while but he is really flying now! He is not quite up in crawl position but he will get up on his hands and knees every once in a while. Today he went from crawling to sitting and all you moms out there know that is a really exciting accomplishment! It is crazy he is getting so big so fast!

Tika and I have been married for 4 years already!!! Time has gone by so fast. We have had so much fun together. From the day we met we have been inseparable! We have lived in 10 different houses in 3 different states. We have been lucky enough to travel. We have 2 beautiful kids. I love Tika for so many different reasons!

Here is to the past two years! Kelly was born on July 3rd 2006. She measured 21 inches long and weighed in at 7lbs 13 oz. We named Kelly Juls after my parents Kelly and Juli. She has been a great bundle of joy for us and we love her more than anything! Besides one little case of the flu when she threw up for twelve days she has been a very healthy baby. Unfortunately she has me and Tika for parents so she has had the pleasure of living in 5 different houses already. She loves to just sit with me, being snug as a bug, the park, and swimming! She also loves to play with Kai and cousins Hallie and Mayzie!

Ok so today we were at the park and Tika and I were playing tennis and Kelly was on the basketball court playing next to us. All of a sudden she starts screaming, the scream she has when she is really hurt or scared. I ran over to her and she just kept pointing down and saying down there, down there. So I look around and I don't see anything so I just take her to the tennis court with us. So later on we were at the park and she starts freaking out again running around. I look again and nothing is on her or by her. Oh wait there is a SHADOW!!! So she is now afraid of her shadow! This is why I love my little Kelly!!!

Six Flags

Tika and I got to go to Six flags this weekend. It was so much fun, I love roller coasters! Cassie and Curt watched the kids so we were able to go alone. I think it was my first time leaving Kai for more than an hour so I was glad I got to leave him in such great hands! We went on all the roller coasters except one and we were still out of there by 5 so the lines were not that bad. The longest line was for Tatsu but we were able to go on it three times in row so that was nice, it made me a little sick but it was nice! We went on the new roller coaster the X2 it was our favorite but a word to the wise don't wear flip flops! I lost a shoe! Luckily I had my tennis shoes in the car. I have a little head ache today probably from all the whipping around but it was worth it! Thanks again Cassie!!!

I just wanted to wish Tika a happy fathers day. Tika is the best day that Kelly and Kai could ask for! We appreciate everything that you do for us and we love you very much! Me and Kelly made him his favorite breakfast which is a skillet and we made him wear his crown the whole time, Kelly loved it. Then Kai started fussing so Tika cuddled with him until they both fell asleep. It just shows you how great of a dad he really is. The kids got Tika a watch and he says we picked the perfect one! This was the first time that I actually got him something and it actually made it to the occasion as a surprise! Again we love you and you are going a great job!!!
